OP I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind. You are all absolutely right. Adoption can take forever, and it is forever. We both have two years of college left. I have done alot of research about adoption, because my husband and I have agreed to adopt someday. I know I need to talk to him about it, and he would have 100% on board. I want to make an impact on this little boy's life. Thank you all for being so understanding.

You say "God is pulling me to this boy"? Then what is the problem? Husband or not. Is your name Eve? Why would you go against God vs anyone? If you truely believe God is guiding you then what is the problem? You already know that you will not be adopting this blind child and you are placing the blame on your husband. Everyone dreams of doing something admirable to the world but few do.

I have a low vision daughter, its very hard seeing her go through life not being able to see everything. But i applaud you for being willing to take on something so hard. If ur partner dosnt want to go for it too bad. This is your life bfs come and go but children are forever and if you feel god is drawing you to him theres a reason.
