Some people live happy lives, others don't. It's not just the circumstances. There is powerful scientific evidence to suggest that brains are hard wired to be happy or sad. We all must do the best we can with the hands we are dealt. Frankly, having people who care about you (whether family or friends) sounds like a pretty good thing.
