If you tried to kill yourself, then you needed help. Sounds like someone loved you enough to see that you got that help. Dosen't sound like there is anything to "forgive".

You made that decision...not the other person. You need to figure out where true blame lies, right in your lap. Don't go blaming someone else for some bullshit excuse to off yourself. If you tried and failed, it's because you wanted to fail.

Sorry that happened to you. Someone I knew was locked up for "72" when she felt suicidal. Based on what she said, it sounded less like anyone tried to help her and more like, they tried to make her as miserable as possible so she wouldn't "bother" them again. So if she ever DOES feel that way again, she won't seek help but will just do it.You have to admire the US health care system at work.
