I feel the same way, but what I 'did wrong' was get Multiple Sclerosis in my forties, and would ask them for help once in a while, not money, got plenty of that,no, help around the house, doing yard work, shoveling snow. I'm a lot better off now that I haven't talked to them in three or four years, and the girls in my Apt. complex love helping me out cause I pay so well.
