i love her. she blows away hendrix, dylan, and zeppelin. raw visceral talent, no hype--no bs. more talented than the stones-more real than the beatles. her version of summertime is better than all the other versions rolled up into a big ball of the rehash drivel that they are. i read her biogtaphy in jr high. i've danced to her music in a bar, the morning after of the night before that never stopped. my dad loves her. god loves her. she put forth the intellect of a dried up stick and she had the face of dog maimed by fire...but she had soul...there was someone at the chelsea who felt it from the inside...the b**** could sing...she wailed like a desperate cat on the fence in a dark alley, but some of us can tell she was really just an undercover angel...did you know that fallen angels land on earth? proof incarnate....and i just got her best of cd for a dollar fifty at the thrift shop...heavens discards in earths dustbins...i never want to die...not like she did...
