Good for you to know the difference. But continue on and you will do nothing but raise someone elses grown child. If they can't put their mother in her place, then you have a big problem on your hands that you cannot solve for them. That is only something you can solve for yourself. Do what is right for you.

to above person: so children owe to our parents, so my mother negleted my sisters and me and would not buy food for us and would call us all kinds of names we owe her? and my father was abusive and an alcoholic we owe him? i dont think we owe are perents anything they chose to have us we did not chose to be here as the person said we are a gift and thats all.
