My Uncle waits tables at a High Class steak house in DC he brings in almost 150k a year. If you work at it you can really make money waiting tables. Not at IHOP but you can do it.

5 up If you pay enough for food and drinks then you should pick your food up and take it home. Servers don't even make minimum wage, they have to pay taxes on the amount of tips they should have made, on the total of the checks. This means that sometimes you make a server pay to wait on you. How is that fair? Most servers are working a second or third job! Go to the movies if you want entertainment.

My hubby to be is a server. Pretty much always has been, always will be. He LOVES it. He works for a franchise that is not high class but still makes more money in 2 nights of tips than I do in a week. Do you make good money? I am guessing not due to your post but I am here to tell you that its because you are acting like you are too good for the job so it makes your customers unhappy=bad tips. Move up to managment! Only one holding you back is you.
