It doesn't have to be awkward sweetie. It's awkward because you are letting it be that way and your letting it be that way because you like the attention. Bottom line is you'll have problems playing both sides with two guys seperately. Either get them to agree to play as a trio, or make a choice between the two and you have to stick with that choice or get rid of both of them. You have 3 good choices and the default 1 bad choice. What do you want to do? You have to choose one. Not choosing is going to initiate the default choice and give you grief.
