The health care community and insurance companies are more interested in money than the patient. If you ask a great doctor he will say he wouldn't have become a doctor if he knew then what he knows now. It's never about what's best for the patient, his job is regulated and dictated by insurance companies, regardless of circumstance. Someone I know had to have part of her colon removed, she was gutted like a fish with a cut from her pubic hair to the bottom of her rib cage... all to take out 6" of colon. A friends father had his done, 8" taken out, and only has two small inciscions less than 2" long. Needless to say, the second one had insurance not just Medicare. Aren't we further along as a society than to butcher the poor because of money?
