Anxiety is what I had, and I and many many others learn to deal with it. I urge you to contact a Dr. and get help. There are a few drugs for this, and some natural drugs to help cope. Please please email me at briansliman@yahoo.com if you wnat to talk abo.it.it.

It makes you forget the problem, but when you sober up you'll be worse off. Anxiety still follows me, if you don't want to take meds (I don't) you could use yoga for its meditatve aspects. That's what I use. I hope that you find the help you seek.

As you can see you are not alone. Alcohol won't work forever & will eventually cause its own problems. Look to the other ways for help.

I just ended a 6 year relationship because she was an alcoholic. I went through three different rehabs and countless AA meeting with her. Please find something else to quell your anxiety at all costs. You have no idea how destructive alcoholism is to a person and those who love them.

Ditto on the dad drinking. Just remember-- alcoholism doesn't only affect you, it affects everyone who cares about you. You really want to hurt them or f*** up their lives? Go for it. But, as the child of an alcoholic, I just have to say that it really does a number on your head... good luck. I hope you find a way past your anxiety-- it took me some time, but I've become better over the years.

when i talked to a doctor about anxiety medication, they acted like i was a drug addict. i learned my lesson. no i illegally self medicate with pot. thanks doc.
