I found my best friend, then gave her away because I felt my home wasn't good enough for her. I miss her and wish i could get her back. I loved her so much.

If Dog Chow is good enough for your kids, it should've been good enough for your dog...

Dogs or animals don't judge...They don't care how big your wallet or your house is..All they want is love and affection.

I would live in my car if it came down to the house or dog. People give up their animals way too easily. Would you/ Have you? given up a child? When you introduce either into your life you are making a promise. To the poster I am sorry if you felt it was the only way, and I am sure that since you loved her, you found her a really good home. I just get sick of seeing dogs get sent to the pound and put down because they had seperation- anxiety or something elese that in layman's terms means that the dog simply loved the owner too much. I am getting really tired of seeing all these beautiful loving innocent animals die!

This is the OP and yes I did find her a loving family with kids who could give her more attention and a better home than I could provide... But it doesn't change my feelings. I still miss her and she was the best dog I ever had.
