It's a matter of basic transference - you have experienced pain from some members of a certain race, so you transfer your anger to ALL members of that race. I'd suggest getting to know some people from that race in your own workplace, school, etc. They might help you to see that race in a different light.

I have had the same thing happen and apparently have not been able to hide my feelings very well as my dog growls at dark skinned non-English speaking people without being threatened or told to do so. :( Makes me feel terrible.

Black Americans are going backwards, not forward. In the 1950's, amost all black children lived with their motherl and father, who were married. Now 70% of black children are born out of wedlock. This is the root of black problems today! Why can't people see this? It's easier for race hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to cry "racism" than it is for them to provide real leadership that solves these problems for black Americans!
