I can understand your fear. You are afraid of the hurt and damage telling the truth may cause your wife and probably you are afraid that you will be hated. But you must live your truth and your wife deserves to live her truth too which is to love and be loved by someone who wants her and to be intimately connected to her as much as she wants this with you, and as much as you long to connect with another male. Maybe you are afraid of what other family will think and feel too and maybe you have kids you worry about but the greatest gift you can give to those who you love is to love yourself and to show them what self love really means. It doesn't mean living a lie in shame and constant distance...it means having the courage to be who you are with no apologies and connecting with others through who you really are. I hope you can face this and tell the truth. You owe it to yourself and everyone in your life to be free of this burden.
