I am the last of seven kids. I hated growing up in that controlled chaos. My siblings picked on me to no end and my only brother beat me up on a regular basis. We're all over 60 now and those years are forgotten. We're close, except for my brother who pretends. We help each other and we count on each other. We still have our diagreements and problems from time-to-time but we know who we can always count on in the end. I hope you and the second commentor find peace with your families though I know it just doesn't happen sometimes.

I don't know how old you are, but sounds like you have a serious attitude problem. Consider being born blind, deaf and mute and growing into a fantastic, famous and inspiring person. Read the" Miracle Worker", ask at any library. You can see, hear and speak. You have two arms and two legs. Go to any Children's Hospital and fall on your knees and thank God for your Blessings. Get off the Pity Pot and ask how you can help around the house.You think YOU are unhappy? What the hell have YOU done to make thingsbetter? What have YOU got to contribute?

I don't like my family but I do love them. When it comes to family you have to love them faults and all. It is best to love them from a distance, but love them none the less. I have been there and I will always be as long as they choose to be who they are.

Great picture, but I gotta say I disagree. There are members of my family I'm not particularly close to, or even try to be, but in the end that's all you can count on. Spouses come and go, friends come and go, but family is always there if you let them. I'm not saying give them money cause God knows I wouldn't give a dime to anyone in my family unless they were dying. But you shouldn't shut them out either.
