You need to tell someone...not just on here. It helps. I was sexually and physically abused, and I hid the details from my husband for over 15 years. Now he knows, and he understands me better...why I am the way I am, why I have night terrors, and why I am so passionate about punishing child abusers.

To those who want the boys scouts to admit homosexual scout leaders: would you want a heterosexual man to be a scout leader for Girl Scouts? Keep in mind he'll be expected to go with them on overnight scouting expeditions. And keep in mind the girls will have to "go to the bathroom" and such. Why not? For whatever reason you think it would be a bad idea, THAT'S the reason some of us are against homosexuals being boyscout leaders. Now you know.

^1 Stupid cretin. Adults who abuse children are pedophiles. Period. It has nothing to do with which gender is leading a group. Pedophilia is a violation of choice. Two of my Scout leaders came out as gay years later. Neither one was ever inappropriate with any of their scouts. They were too busy doing each other. (the way consenting adults should)

^1 Stupid a** ****. By trying to weed out possibilities to abuse children, the Boy Scouts have been labeles as out-of-step, paranoid, ect. It is bozos like you that fail to recognize realities. You want things to be"o.k.", to be "equal", ect. Wake up. Life is just not that simple. There will always be bad in the world.
