To the comprehension-challenged reader two comments up: he needed space, not her. This means he couldn't figure out what he wanted. Try not to let your bad luck with women cloud your perception. There are many people, men and women, who don't know what they want in regards to relationships until they test the waters. Some of us figure that out more quickly than others. You're right about love not being a game though. Kudos to the lady for not taking him back just to string him along in order to hurt him like he hurt her. That's a rare find these days...

I hear you! When I was younger, I had a long on and off relationship with a woman who was a beauty queen. It was like owning a fussy foreign car that was always acting up, and needed hard to get parts. When she dumped for a rich guy, at first I was devasted. After a month or so, I realized my good fortune! The moral of this story? "There's always somebody else!" :) (Oh, and within a year, the rich guy dumped her for somebody younger! LOL!)

You should forgive him if he deserves it. It doesn't mean sex all time time. What happens is that every human thinks wrong at some point in the relationship because he or she forgot how the world was outside the relationship. God forgives. Why shouldn't you?
