We pay cash for everything and if we don't have the money we don't buy it. We own our modest home outright. We live well. As a result our credit rating is very low. My brother has a high credit rating because he borrows money when he doesn't have it and he pays it all back on time - he has paid over $200,000 in interest and charges. The bank owns his house and cars although he thinks they are his. A high credit rating just tells bankers that you will buy things at an exorbitant interest rate and that you will foolishly make all of your payments.

There is an answer. His name is Jesus. By the time He had hung on that cross at Calvary, he was beaten with a leather whip with metal pieces tied on the ends to rip flesh.
A crown of thorns was placed on His head then pushed down tight so that the thorns pentetrated into the skin.
He carried His cross as He was beaten. After He was lifted on the cross, the guards cast lots for His garments.
Oh, by the way, He did this for you. He gave up His human life so that you may be given a chance to conquer sin.
His body was taken from the cross and placed in a nearby tomb. On the third day He rose from the dead and revealed Himself to over 500 people. On the 40th day, He ascended into Heaven to be with the Father.
His death on the cross provides you the opportunity of life. For if you do not know Jesus Christ, you are dead in Spirit. To repent of your sins and turn to a relationship with Jesus is to be born again.

it does matter. but its not every thing. i have a ridiculously bad credit score. marriage / divorce and bad decisions have put me in a bad spot. i am doing what i can to get out of it. however, i am happy and get by just fine with my 590. in some ways its easier.

It is a good indication that the rest of your life is in order, I would think. It would be a good survey. I believe the people with good credit also have a strong sense of right and wrong, would have less tendancy to cheat and be in trouble than those with lower scores. It's the difference between taking life seriously and being greedy and selfish.
