I too was molested as a child, by a step parent. I became a better person for it and you will too. It made me a more compasionate person and it will you too. You can't blame yourself for what happened. Try volunteering to help kids that have been through the same thing you have been. It's very healing to know that you can help from your hurt. I can also say it has made me a more aware parent. I have 2 kids and I can almost sense when a pedophile is around, I know the true signs, I know the behaviors to look for.

I get really tired of hearing these sob stories. My Dad died when I was nine and my Mom blew her brains out when I was ten. I found her. That is their problem, not mine. I made a success of my life regardless of their choices.

^agreed. You make your life, life doesn't make you. I was also abused for years by my step dad. It hurt, and honestly sometimes it still hurts but it pushes me harder and harder to be a better person. It get's better only when you make it better and stop playing victim. No one is going to give a shit, wear thicker skin and live your life bro.
