I'm very saddened to learn of these tragedies in your life. If it's feasible, perhaps outpatient therapy can help you find some peace.

No. You are strong for breathing. You being able to breath..is a miracle. You are stronger than most people - remember that.

Why fake the smile, and why avoid getting psychiatric care? While I'd never be glib enough to recommend being stuck in a "mental institution", why are you so dead set against getting treatment, even residential or hospitalized, to cope with and move beyond this terrible tragedies in your life? It's as if you are saying "There is medicine, but I fake a smile so no one will force me to take it." WHY? This isn't the middle ages and no one is going to lock you in a dungeon if you seek help.

It seems regular therapy sessions should not be something to avoid. You don't have to go to an institution to get help that will allow you to smile a natural smile again.

I was on Prozac but when i realized that nothing had changed except that a drug was making me feel happy i stop taking it because it was a fake smile in it self. I can do that on my own without paying a doctor.
