It's called passive-aggressive. I don't tell my wife secrets anymore. It's been over 15 years since I've really "told" her anything personal. It's because she uses that information as knowledge, as substance. It is not humbling to her, it is not a gesture of trust to her, it's a tool of knowledge to her. What she knows about a person so that she can manipulate. She never reveals secrets of her own. She is afraid to...because of the way she uses secrets of others, she thinks others will use hers.
