It troubles me that I can't, at age 49, name the best or most romantic day of my life. I hope that means it has yet to happen. Please tell me yours.

My most romantic so far was with my first wife. We met at a restaraunt late one night after a party and ate. we talked, laughed, etc. for several hours. I will never forget that. I love my current wife but I dont have memories like this with her. Just proves that just because something worked at one time, it may not work forever. The best is yet to come...

I can't pick just one, but a good one comes to mind. I was preggers with our second child and we were coming home for some event in town. My husband was driving his very old and beefy pick-up and I was in my little car with our 3 year old. I was leading the way, but we got seperated by a red light and a newer pick-up ended up between us. The newer pick-up was really ridin' my bumper and it was one lane, no passing. My husband had caught up to us both as we came to the 4 lane divided highway. The newer pick-up passed me really close, I was non-pulsed, why waste energy on jerks? As this jerk passes me I see my husband 2 feet from the jerks bumper, bearing down like the wrath of God. As soon as the guy was beyond me my husband backed off and returned to his place behind me, watching over me and our children. I felt so protected and have always remembered that drive.

I had just started daiting this guy (litterally one date) when my cat became very ill, after spending a few hours in the vet's office convinced I was going to lose my best friend I returned home with a heavy heart. When I got to the door my sister flew it open and said, "go in the living room." In the living room there was a vase full of flowers with a note that said "I'm so sorry to hear about your pet, I'm here for you if you need me" I can't tell you how hard I cried when I read that. It was so sweet and so thoughtful. (my cat pulled through btw)

The best day of my life? My best friend and I always have problems. We always argue. But I still love her and she loves me, like a friend. [We are both girls] Recently I just straight up told her all the things she does and used to do that annoy the heck out of me and told her just how much they annoy me and how much I hate them. I told her I didn't even know if I could be her friend. And then she said sorry. She's never said sorry to me ever, I was so suprised I literally almost cryed. I'm so greatful for that one sorry.

For me this was the most romantic moment ever...We had our first date on my birthday. He didn't have the money to take me out so he pawned his guitar to take me out to a nice dinner. I would have never wanted him to do that, but just the fact that he did said a lot about him. We're still together today. I love him so much.

when I flew into Connecticut and my gf and I spent the entire next day in bed. The WHOLE day. We didn't have sex the entire day...oh no... we drank several(3) bottles of Champaign, spooned all day and well, it was THE most romantic day in my life.

He asked me to be his wife for no other reason but that he loved me and now wants to be my husband. I know this sounds stupid, but we have been engaged two other times becuase we felt pressured to get married. This time we want to be leagly bound to each other.

The best most romantic day of my life? The day my best friend, and soul mate told me he loved me. We were in the kitchen and I was making dinner and he snuck up behind me put his arms around me and whispered in my ear, "I love you Angie." I nearly fainted I had been waiting for those words for so long. We had the most incredible night that night.

My Dad used to say his was one day when he was a boy fly fishing in the mountains. Everything was perfect. Mine was my first experience with LSD. I felt like a kid again, everything was perfect. My last experience with it was one of the worst days however...

A guy I had JUST met called me at 3am to see if I was up. I was REALLY sick so I met him at the store to get flu meds. He bought me OJ and we walked around chatting. I had never hung out with him before but tried many times. When the shopping was done he offered to take me home and stay with me till I fell asleep (nothing creepy)I agreed and we stayed up for 2 days talking. He went home, packed a bag and we have been together ever since. I was recently divorced and hurting and he made it all go away. AND we lived and slept together for over a month with NO sex of any kind. Perfect gentleman. I love him to this day. We have been together for 4 years and discussing marraige. I was so broken and he was the gorilla glue that fixed my heart.

60 yr old woman here. I remember having a major secret crush on a man when I was in my early 30's and just divorced. Then, he sent me flowers...so I knew he felt it too. We met one night and just walked around a park. I remember so well actually trembling when he reached to hold me. I will never forget that "most romantic" night of my life. We saw one another on occasion but he was not emotionally available. We stayed in touch every year or so, even when I moved with my job...he would find me. So now....I think I found him. I wrote a letter to him and am awaiting a response. Nothing has ever come close to the MAGIC I felt in that man's arms, in his voice, in his touch.....I WILL FEEL THAT AGAIN.
