I can't believe that people are not at least hopeful that he is going to clean up much of the mess he walked into. He has a lot on his plate and was elected by a majority of Americans and electoral votes. His predesesor squeaked in with the electorals only and screwed our reputation with the rest of the world. How people vote behind the curtain is their own choice. Real racists would never give him a chance. No man has ever walked into a bigger mess. His color does not make him a better janitor than any other candidate, but it appears he is the one elected to do the job. How GWB got a second term after his first 4 years boggles my mind; and to still have supporters after 8 is incomprehensible. Now give this new man with new ideas the same 4 years and see if he delivers. Color has nothing to do with it. And try watching something other than FOX.

I'm a racist and I like Obama. Maybe racist is a harsh word. I have distinct and strong prejudices for sure, maybe bordering on racism. The problem with anything like this is you can't convince someone that the things they consider negatives are actually fickle. I really don't see what race has to do with any of this. I did not vote for Obama, and I think that he is not the man for the job, but If he is white or black is not why. He has made mistakes in his first 100 days, but he has also done some good. Take the good with the bad, because like it or not, (and for the record I don't) He was elected by the MAJORITY. That is the way that our founding fathers set up our government from the beginning. What I find amazing is that most of you whiners didn't even get out and vote. Obama has done more in his first 100 days than many presidents do over the course of their entire presidency. He walked into a tremendous mess. To the OP: 1) you are right. 2) That does not make you a racist. 3) Remember that there are people out there who love to play the race card. It works in their favor because our society has been overly polarized with all this political correctness crap. 4) I'll say it for you: The man is a no talent ass clown who has no regard for what the people of this country really want/need. However he is super smart with his tactics and policies in that the ultimate goal is to bring this country to it's knees. He, and his cronies in congress are doing a bang up job of it too. I voted for Obama in the primary and the general election, and I really regret it! I think I would even vote for that idiot Rick Santorum if it comes down to that. Fact check. Obama did not win by a landslide by any means. The popular vote was just 51 to 47 percent. 61 million to 58 million. Bush beat Kerry by a very similar margin. 62 million to 59 million. Most state give their electoral votes according to a winner takes all method. If a particular State votes 51 percent for a certain canidate, all of their electoral vote go to them. Obama has not accomplished one thing since hes been in. Name one success?
