Actually it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, thoughts are the negative of the world, they coincide with ones ego. Just because soemthing has a label; a man made label; Doesn't mean that is actually what it is, in fact we actually don't realy know what it is. If people are lonely then they're lonely by choice. No matter how small a town you live in, there is always something going on where you can meet people. Talks at the library, community theater, volunteer somewhere.
If you're unhappy then its up to you to get your ass off the couch and out into the world.

I, for one, understand how you feel. I have no friends- went through something horrible and family members weren't there for me either. I am still dealing with it all. I guess it would be nice to have at least one person reach out- even if it is just over the computer.
