What happens when a motorcycle hits a car? 1 week in a coma, almost died, 15 broken bones. I'm sick to death of those who say they want to crash. IDIOTS!!!!!

OP - This is my daughter, a happier person you would never meet until the "accident". Now, 3 years later: forgetful, paranoid, angry, afraid. Thank God she lived and is 95% back to normal but that 5% is excrutiatingly painful for us all.

I hope she can find peace again, it sounds like PTSD has left its mark. Therapy can help.

It never occured to me that PTSD could be a problem here, because she had closed head injuries and we assumed it was brain damage, Thanks! 2 up - no I didn't tell her I was posting this picture, in fact, I don't think she's ever seen it. But if it helps even one person I think she would be pleased. I wish I could post a regular pic of her, she is actually quite beautiful; you wouldn't know it by this pic and it was one of the least traumatic of them.

It's "Dad of the Year" thank you. I don't think this is something she needs to know about. She's had trouble dealing with the pictures. She knows how much I love her and that I wouldn't do anything that would hurt her. She also is a kind and sensitive person who would be the first to lend her experience to save another's life. As a matter of fact she has. Sorry this offends you but sometimes the cosmic picture is far more important than one persons feelings.

Commenter #1 again. I hope you realize that when I say the secret is pathetic, I'm speaking of the secrets posted by those who wish they could end it by accident. OP Dad, I'm with you. Posting her picture is an iffy thing, but I sincerely hope your daughter's trauma continues to diminish over time, and that your speaking out this way helps stop a troubled person from taking away or sucking up the life force of someone like your beautiful daughter, in order to assuage their own temporary problems. Peace be with your entire family.
