I've been there. It hurts when you've been with someone for 7 years, and you know they don't feel anything for you, and just stay out of obligation, fear, or loathing...and you love them so much you don't even care that's why they stay as long as they do. I finally got respect myself now. I wouldn't want anything less than what I give. It's only fair to feel the same thing in return! You DESERVE better! Maybe he doesn't know. Guys can be like that. Sometimes everything needs to be spelled out for them. I know I'm someone who always misreads signals from women.
