my mom helped me raise my son until I got married and my son has not seen his grandma in almost two years. She called me today and was sad because I do not call her more often. My son adores her so much that now he does not want to come to my house because he misses his grandma too much everytime he comes.

I'm OP
Apparently you're not that smart because I wasn't trying to fool anyone. I was using a picture of a grandmother and grandson together in order to paint a picture... IN YOUR MIND!!!
I've seen the movie, you should too... and lighten up.

Wow what a lucky woman!! It's nice to see a man who loves his grandma!! I'm a woman and my granny was my best friend. She passed in 1996. I miss her too.

It is ok to miss people who have died. And there is nothing wrong with crying and thinking about them either. Whether you are male or female. I know exactly how you feel b/c I miss my mom who was my best friend and defender. Without her I had to learn to stand alone against those in my life who would hurt me and it was scary.
Dago, I see you post in here a lot and people get on to you about being so mean, but I think you have a very dry sense of humor. I am sorry people in your family don't accept you for the person you are, you seem such a wit.

My 6-yo daughter misses her "poppa", my Dad. He was 87 and and died when she was 4. She still talks about him out of the blue, and sometimes cries. She talks about how she will see him in heaven. She will always remember him.
