i have a mom like this. ashamedly, i occasionally feel this way about her, but try to convince myself that i don't really mean it.

Someone said "no matter what she did she is your mother...love her". you can't automatically love someone just because they are your mother. in some cases the children are more like parents than the parents are.

Please don't automatically hate her, and try to get her some help. Being a parent with mental incapabilites is obviously difficult. It's out of her control, seek out a professional.
