I fear that my constant spells of mania and depression will always make people see me as a disease and not a real person with real feelings

If only the whole world saw the flaws in themselves, people like you and I would feel no different...keep your head up. Find the right meds. Remember no matter what you are a real person with feelings..those who don't get that, don't matter.

Once you stop identifying yourself as a disease instead of a person, you will no longer care about what others who dont matter think. Those who matter dont mind, and those who mind dont matter. Keep your head up!

Take your meds, I was married to bi-polar and she refused her meds, she went manic, and ruined the marriage, not once but multiple times, and finally when I could take it no longer, I left. Don't let what happened to us, happen to you, see your PDoc, take your meds, and be open and honest with yourself and others. I wish you the best

I say f*^@ them!! You are great!! There is good and bad to everything and everyone. If the ones that are in your corner can look beyond your moods then your right where you need to be. Otherwise cut your loss's and move on.

Until you get stabilized that is the only way you will be perceived. Others that know you will appreciate it and you...see a Dr. and don't quit until you find the right 'cocktail' for you..IT IS POSSIBLE>>>

The dragonfly symbolizes change. It is circling the ying-yang to bring balance to my life. It is a reminder that I can get through this as long as I stay on my meds and see my doctors. Some days it just seems overwhelming. Thank u for your kind comments they meant a lot this evening *cry*
