but all i have to say is that if a relationship didnt happen in the last 30 years its best to leave it alone. you need to sit back and think about what you love about the person.

I agree. There's no reason to think either party is married. There's also no reason to think the poster is a woman.
I'm guessing all the above posters haven't seen 30 years much less are old enough to have a love from that long ago. Get in touch, see where it leads. We have fewer and fewer people we share histories with as time passes.

If neither is married or involved, go for it! Don't wait another 30! Think of all the time you might be wasting. Be ready for both, the death of a dream/fantasy, or the love you have waited for for all these years. Either way, you have to find out. True love endures, and regret sucks.
