Leave his sorry ass, just call a friend or parent to come pick you up and go. Contact your local W.E.A.V.E or police department to get in touch with support groups..plan ahead if you can..but GET OUT...violent offenders like this don't nice'n up - they get worse! For the person who posted #3 you are a f***ing idiot. Is she supposed to stay because she married him? OP just leave. Take your beautiful children and go wherever and however it takes to get it done. If you go to jail for killing him then what happens with the kids? Not to say that you would be convicted but you still will have to put the kids through all the rest. Plus they have the stigma of Mommy killed Daddy to think about. They WILL hear it from their peers. Get out while all of you are still whole. Can you post your hometown? If she does, anyone in that town know where she can get help? If you can help reach out and pay it forward.

You ought to check out the movie The Burning Bed from 1984 w/ Farrah Fawcett (its a book as well) Very insightful for a made for TV movie. You certainly need to get out of your current situation, especially for your children.

I've been where you are and I promise it's better to leave and watch them suffer through life. That sounds sick I know, but I have a huge sense of empowerment that I've made a life for me and my children while he continues to live like a worthless bum! You really want to burn him?
