They offer the ability to reflect on ones self and considering that we don’t know any more about this person that how he feels about seeing homeless who are you to judge him? Perhaps he has experienced hardships but unlike these people whom he feels didn’t strive to overcome theirs, worked hard and made something of him self. I know for one I grew up in poverty, tittering on the brink of being homeless my self. Out of work hooked on drugs and generally a POS of a human. Yet I know work as a network admin making banking supporting myself and working to better my self all the time. Yet you think those out there who gave up on them selves deserve a helping hand from me, haha f*** that shit! I never asked for help, I never begged for cash. I went out and earned it, kicked drugs got back to school and got my life on track again. So you know what f*** all of you, and hell yeah man I hear you. It does feel good to know that your better than those f***s.

i think that we should all have to wear each others proverbial shoes at least once in this lifetime - a way to force ourselves to feel compassion and empathy for one another. I realize that this is unlikely to happen; so my brothers and sisters, we must wait patiently for the great equalizer to free us all from our illusions... it is near!!!

Most of these posters are f***tard liberals who think their opinion is worth a whole lot more than it really is. If I bought them for what they're worth and sell them for what they THINK they're worth... I'd be rich. I agree with the OP. We work for what we have and take pride in it. The OP didn't say he never reaches out, nor did he claim to. All he said was that he/she takes pride with the work he has done and where it has gotten him. He has managed to make it through good and bad times and improvised success where none seemed to be at first. Apparently most of the homeless do not have the same drive, intestinal fortitude and persevearance as some of us. I Say, CARRY ON and keep the pride, you've earned it. Thumbs up!
