We're here but we're not edgy. We're not bad boys. We're not scary. We're diligent, well groomed, and to you, invisible. You can't see us because you *won't* see us. You'll see the jerk, the narcissistic macho guy, the loser you think you can save, but the quiet decent strong guy who will love you always might as well be made of glass in a pool, always looking up at you...

You have plenty of time. Find someone who is your equal. It gets exhausting trying to "grow" someone who has no ambitions!

Where are you? Be proud of yourself, far to many people your age have no direction. Keep an eye out and you'll find someone that has the same goals as you. Like me... 27, own my home, good job, and no kids!

You dont have a "decent" man bacause thats not what you want. Steady, reliable and kind is boring to women. You still have an infantile taste in men. You still want the party star, the "bad boy" - stop wasting peoples time with this tripe and be honest with yourself

Because there is no perfect man, and you will never be satisfied. Good luck being alone for the rest of your life (I know, it sucks)

I think you're right in the followup. It isn't that you're not a catch. It's that they can't catch you when you are home nesting. Don't go out looking for a single man. Go out looking for an interesting activity, and then meet the people who are participating in that activity. Volunteer your time, go to museum tours, take a flying lesson, go hang glide, and live life fully and happily. That will become intoxicating and make you very attractive. Some handsome flight instructor, for instance, will say "How lucky did I get, that this young girl chartered my Cessna today for a fly over?" Go out and do ACTIVITIES. The partners will follow.

I am where I've always been. Right here waiting for you to decide that what you really want is a nice guy. Unfortunately by the time most women realize all they want is a nice guy they are so used up they can't love

You're way too young to be worrying about this now. If you're still single at 63, THEN you can post this!

OK so it sounds like you are stuck on yourself and if that was what I would hear from you on a first date, there would not be a second, Be humble you know what you are but don't brag about it. Keep waiting and don't settle for less that you want

Are you making yourself available? What do you mean where is he? He is in every city, every town, everywhere. You just need to look at it right.

OP: To the person who said im stuck on myself. You don't know me. I was saying that I have a good head on my shoulders and I work hard to succeed will I go around flaunting that I have a good job and car and all that?..No. Am I LOOKING/SEARCHING for a man?..No. But someone was right, I don't think I make myself available. My lame ass gets off work and relaxes at home....I need to get out more :(
