This medical condition is often inherited by being passed down. It is treatable. See your physican. You will be fine, my friend

Schizophrenia starts to show in the early 20's to 30's, if this is the first signs and you are beyond your 30's, it may not be schizophrenia. If you have a family history of schizophrenia go to your local public mental health office and you will get help. Many people with schizophrenia live normal lives with todays medications.

Better hope one of your personalities is Canadian! Seriously, get it looked after and the sooner the better. My friends Mom has this and is pretty far gone (in her 80s) but she also gives her Bach Flower Remedies and they tend to calm her.

My family is riddled with schizophrenia. The sooner you tell them, the better off you'll be. It is a difficult disease to live with, but one you will need loving support, throughout. Let your loved ones be there for you, just as you would be if they were going through a major life change. Don't listen to any of the people who are cruel; they just don't understand. Know that you are not alone and I am thinking of you with all my heart and soul.

When things are quiet, I hear low mumblings, that I can't make out. Also I'm always catching something out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn to look there's nothing there.

Chances are your sons are already aware of your situation.

You're scared? Don't be. I think your sons would be really impressed by your problem. We don't love each other because they're perfect, we love each other because we see people who are as flawed as we are.

My 1st husband had it. It manefested and was diagnosed in his late 30's. Please get help soon. And take the meds. My husband committed suicide, which was even more devastating than what he put us through with his problem.

If you have three grown sons, you may not have schizophrenia. Every county has public health facilities. Find one in your area and get checked out.
