Its me the girl from the picture. Well in school all the mexican girls were very mean to me. I was told I had ugly eyes, that they were contacts, that I wasn't really mexican just a wannabe, that I looked like a ugly white indian. I had no self esteem and was suicidal. Well now I'm married to a mexican and he's a very sweet guy but his family talks all this crap too but they say I'm stuck up and I think I'm all pretty. One of my daughters has blue eyes and also light skinned and they say he's not the dad and I'm a slut etc. My whole life I've been put down and never accepted by my race and its very hurtful so now I just hate them all. By the way my family are all light skinned with colored eyes.

I hear you! My father is white and my mom is Chicana, and this has often led to rejection from anglos for not being white (Duh, like I don't know that?), and to rejection from other chicanos for not being Mexican enough, and for speaking correct spanish instead of Ghetto slang. (Sometimes I think it would be easier to be asian!)
