Hey, let up on the beer already. Beer is an excellent temporary solution to life's problems, and should be respected as such. Anyway - what did beer ever do to you? Just enjoy it responsibly (ie. don't drink + drive) and get over it buddy.

Your only 24. Why were you needing to numb yourself? What were you running from? Fix that problem, then maybe you can put the bottle down on your own. Other wise, if you keep drinking, you may never put it down. Most of the homeless drunks that live in the woods and behind any building that they don't get run off from, started out just like you. You've got your whole life ahead of you. Sober up and start living it.

Please go to an AA meeting, tell them your a newcomer, let these people help you and love you until you can love yourself. I understand and I feel for you. Sober 7 yrs and loving life like I never have before. It works, it really does.

my doctor prescribed a recently FDA approved drug called Campral. I've been sober for 9 months now. I tryed my times to quite....couldn't do it on my own even with AA. The drug was the help I needed. I stopped taking Campral 3 months ago....still sober. Good Luck
