Just tell her the truth, because she may have no idea why everyone always breaks up with her. Halitosis can be treated.

My wife discovered that my halitosis only appears when I have had anti-acids. She has changed my diet and she now talks with me about my concerns and worries. I'm fortunate that I am able to be completely honest with her. I have had halitosis only one time this week. It's worth a try!

my question is...how do you NOT know that your breath stinks? Is it that he or she is completely oblivious to it, or they dont think its as bad as it seems?

an apple will solve it. or even a few jelly beans. easily fixed. if that doesn't work, ask a doctor or a dietician. it's usually diet-related or because they starve or need some fibre.
