If you are not happy, change. Look inward; why do you not want to talk about anything? Answer truthfully and go from there. Good luck to you!

Some people are just born to drink I guess.

To the first person to leave a comment- your an ass. Do you feel better putting someone else down? That means you have more problems the them!! To the post...I was that way for about 4 years. You probable are an alcoholic. I am (recovering 3yrs). Try AA before you look back and your whole life is gone and full of nothing but regrets. AA sounds corny, but it works. Get a sponser 1st thing, and work the steps. I don't go anymore, but I would recommend it to anyone. It's a good way to live your life even if your not an addict/alcoholic.

Listen to poster #5- I came back from Nam and drank myself into oblivion for a year. I woke up one morning with no money, no job and no prospects. I joined AA. I took a job making hero sandwiches at a sub shop for $3.75 an hour, I took a second job waiting tables at a Sheraton Inn. Here I am, 30 years later. I did take up drinking again, but controlled, and I know that AA says you can't do that. I am VP of Operations for a large company. I do not allow drinking to interfere with my job OR my life. I am happily dating my ex-wife (we divorced because of my drinking). I realize that this is NOT the usual Bill W. story. What I AM telling you is that you can get a handle on you're problem. If you need help, most are here to help. There are a number of uneducated morons out there that will also respond. Ignore them, they are fools and enjoy anjother's misery. They will pay in the end, noit due to religious beliefs, but due to the the fact that every dog has it's day. If you need my help, post.
