So many good points here. I actually give you kudos for dating outside your own race. To me, this shows that you're not racist by being open to dating outside of your own race...even if the reason you gave might say otherwise. I would like to point out that I'm sure we're all aware that all races have members that dress and act like this. I feel like you're just trying to avoid a lifestyle more than a race. Right?

OP: Actually the person who pointed out that im avoiding that paticular lifestyle is right. I have dated a proffesional black man, ill date any guy that is an overall genuine good person. I don't see color at all. But there's some things im not attracted to. That sterotypical behavior is one of them. I apologize if it came across as racist but but ppl have different tastes

Welcome to post racial America! I'm a white guy that has always found black women attractive but have only had one date with a black woman. I was afraid of what other people would think, so I never called her for a second date. If that day was today, she would have been asked out for a second date. If only I had a time machine. OP: well I guess to some it came across wrong. Im talking about the men that approach me. I have talked to black proffesional males before no problem. But this is mean for the others that approach me with that stereotypical demeanor. Recently friends made fun of me for talking to a caucasian man or they'd be surprised if I talked to a black man at all. Its all kind of crazy

It's obvious you don't leave Chicago often. There are progressive black men all over this country that actually wear their pants at their hips, but then again, who really cares? If they want to wear their pants that way, let them. I didn't know we had to live up to other people's standards now! Date who you want. If that's what you like, then that's what you like. Most white women are afraid to date black men because of what their families or friends would think of them. If you're doing that, you're not living for yourself, not matter what race color or creed of person you're dating.

I attended majority black grammar and high schools in the fifties. Every black classmate I knew lived with their mother and father who were MARRIED. This is the absolute truth. Now seventy percent of black children are born out of wedlock, and this is the root of all black problems! The black community is going backward, not forward - this is why.
