OP; It's not BS man, I had ear surgery ten years ago, but my Dr. said there is no way it is related. He wants me to see a shrink. The voices are like a mumbling, and to #1, it usually happens in a separate room that has backround noise, like a factory or something. I don't worry about it too much, if I start understanding the words, it might freak me out. I'm afraid to ask other people if they hear it too, cause they'll think I'm nuts.

Your doctor is correct. You are describing auditory hallucinations. I suggest that you see a mental health professional ASAP. It's possible your symptoms may be controlled with medications. And please don't be afraid of anyone judging you. Your problem is the result of a disorder that could happen to anyone.

there are people who have lost their hearing who experience the same thing. the connection between the ear and the brain isn't one way. when you experience a total loss of hearing for instance, the circuitry sometimes starts flowing in the opposite direction, basically your brain telling you you are hearing things instead of vice versa. you might be losing your hearing or it might be a result of your operation. look up this phenomenon and also look up cochlear implants as those are what remedied the problem in those cases where total hearing loss was the cause of the auditory hallucination. good luck buddy.

I experienced the same thing when I was younger, like 30 years ago. Sounded like a news broadcast or something. Not like a conversation, but like they are informing me of something. Male and female voices, and they took turns. No background noise, only silence and then, the voices. This happened only at home. To this day I think I was hearing ghosts. I'm not crazy. I swear ;)

What you are experiencing is what in layman's terms is described as mind control. We (your government) have been hard at work studying way to control the non-desirables in the population and you are a subject in one of those experiments. This is a side effect of the "treatment" you received by one of our practitioners. Most likely during your surgery. In the future we will be able to make the subjects of the procedure listen to the voice as if it were their own thoughts. This will control a populous much more effectively than force. If you where wondering, the foil hat magnifies the effect.

Sounds like to me that you have spiritual connections. Or, you are schizo.

I knew those damn polio shots were suspicious.

A spiritual schizo? Hah! Voices are normal for sensitive folks. I hear a few words, meaningless bits of a conversation, sometimes before going to sleep.

Wow, that's all really scary! It gave me shivers, the one that sais they experienced the same thing 30 years ago.

very often a fan spinnig or a motor in an electronic device either in the room or nearby can give off harmonic frequencies that break down radio channels and at a low level you can hear the am station. if you figure out what is running and turn it off the voices go away this is different than auditory hallucinations associated with mental health issues. with auditory hallucinations the issue will clear up with anti psychotic medications. with frequency select hearing the only thing that works is shutting of the motor.

I hear it all the time myself. I do not realize it when I am hearing it and when I do realize it, I can't seem to make out what is being said. Its not like its a talk show. Its just like its people talking.

I had the same problem as a child. I would sit alone in a dark room, and it would be quiet. No noise. I would hear whispering voices, and could never make out what they were saying. I figured out years ago that I was hearing into the spirit world, and that some people are just sensitive to things like that. Now, as an adult, I know I am an empath, I feel other people's emotions like they are my own, and I know things before they happen, however, I don't hear the whispers anymore, and haven't for years. It's pretty common around puberty though.
