You are your own mother? How does that work?

What? She's hidden your diabetes medication?
Better pray you can get your fixes elsewhere, then you can let the evil b**** die in peace and you'll have the last laugh. Good luck.

Sounds like your mother didn't do a very good job of raising you to be an independent adult.

The diabetes, mamas boy, independent adult comments are ignorant and obviously enjoying the 'powerful' feeling of behind a keyboard.
To the poster, losing a parent is very very very very hard, but you will survive. Even if you don't feel that way now.
I wish you a lot of bravery as you move through the grief process.

The diabetes, mamas boy, independent adult comments are all plausible explinations. Having your mom die does suck, but its happened to millions of people, so suck it up.

I feel the same way but I'm going to resist the temptation to do myself in when my dear mother does finally pass away. You do the same thing. Life is short and if you ant to die just let nature take its course. I've lost everybody in my family except my very aged mother. I also lost my two best friends. You got to keep going.

When it happens, you will start a new chapter in your life. Stick around and see how it turns out. I'll bet your mom would like you to be happy. On the other hand, I hope my sons love their mom as much as you do yours, but please don't hurt yourself.

I lost my mother last summer, and I took it VERY hard. I pretty much stopped functioning for a few months. I didn't think I'd ever find my way back. But I did. I still cry every day, but I am putting my life together as best I can, and trying to honor my mother's life, and the values she taught me. I dearly hope that, as tempted as you might be to do so, that you do NOT harm yourself but rather, once you recover, you follow a path similar to my own. G-d bless you.

Look, if this person wants to kill him/herself because their mum dies, then we should respect that, it's no one else's business.
Good luck. I'm sure their mother would be very proud to know that they are so loved that their child's life will be completely over when the mother dies.
I recommend pills.

I lost my mother 10 years ago and life has just gone downhill. It sucks big time. You never get over it but you learn to live with it.

^ I'm so saddened and I totally understand how you feel. I lost my mother two years ago and was devastated. It took me months to get out of the apartment for more than two hours a week. I finally got a new job and went back to work, but have never been the same since. Hey ^2 - great post although I think you might have lessened the impact with the last sentence (I don't give a crap about baseball, btw).
