That's adorable. If you have more than friendly feelings for her, you should probably tell her. Women, unlike men, can have completely platonic friends of the opposite sex for years, and once you're in the friend category, you stay put, and become the guy she cries to about other guys. could happen, could not. I've had my heart ripped out of me and stomped into a million pieces and thrown to the corners of the known Universe. A supreme act of betrayal by a kindred soul. Hell I'm hardwired to be a romantic, so I always hope for the OP's scenario, quite honestly, because it is a much more enjoyable reality.
