OP here: I am supportive and we have a fantastic loving relationship. I just hate that damn gut the older we get. And 1^ I don't drink alcohol and I don't eat fast food and have a very low BMI. Wait until you are older you will see.

Agree with ^. Do what I did: stop drinking beer, do weight training (better than cardio-only), read Men's Health, eat right even tho she may not. (Eventually you can start having a beer occasionally!) Best of luck.

OP: I'm older too, but I am a woman who has had 4 children, and with my third child my abs split. I was an athlete with great abs before hand! I have stretch marks all over my abdomen now. I spent years hating my body, and one day, I just stopped giving a f***. I cared more about my stretch marks than any man that I was ever intimate with. I say all that to say, real love doesn't give a shit. Your wife loves you for you, stop trying to be someone else. Let it all hang out, or, eat only clean food and jog :) Either way, if she really loves you, it won't matter.

^ a tummy tuck will tighten your abdominal wall and make all the loose skin go away. If you can dig up $7500, it's worth it. Trust me! It will change the shape of your body, especially if the doctor gives you some liposuction with it. Helped me achieve more of an hourglass figure
