I compared today's horrible spelling and grammar with that of the Victorian Age. nothing else. And I basically said the same thing, 'Nothing has changed in our society, as far as lusting thoughts. It is just more overt today.' The format is different and more easily accessible is what I said because of modern society. You completely missed the point.

Yes, it has. Consumerists treating other people as inanimate objects or just another piece of meat to stick it to is disgusting and has gained more prevalence with the emergence of consumerist media and our amazing superficial society; easier and faster than ever to get what you want when you want it and encourage people to forget morals or integrity. That is the slow degradation of society that I was speaking of. Not only this but the sheer inanity of people's grammar/spelling and their cognitive processes are simply horrifying. Again a degradation from let's say, the Victorian era where people quipped Latin and antiquated Greek.

The Victorians were consumerists that used people as inanimate objects too. They were colonialists. And the degradation of cognition and grammar...Victorian cultural works are on par with our own.
