That doesn't make you a very honorable person. And you're behaving very maturely either. How are you paying for grad school? What are you getting your master's degree in?

3 up. What are you saying, that working is an honorable thing to do to help someone else get rich? Op, I say take all the time you want. Don't let society dictate what is right and wrong. Right and wrong is established by the powerful and the wealthy. F u c k them. Do what you want.

I completely understand your perspective.

MOM? really? loser

3^ Feed me, give me? I didn't ask for that. I just don't work, I play. As for you, not crazy, indoctrinated with the work ethic, yes. Entitled to rape the world and think it is consensual because of your hard work, yes. What have you really given to the world with your work? Nothing of value to the world, nothing of affection or care, just your haughty attitude of entitlement. 2^ Bronze age motherf***ers said that. Real humans you like to call primitives who live by the hoop have no need to work. Nature provides while your sky-god demands sacrifice with sacrifice paid in your freedom to feel entitled in f***ing your mother.

How you gonna behave when you graduate? You gonna lie to your mom and tell her your professors think you're better off living off welfare? Get off your lazy ass and work...It is, after all, a responsible way to live.

^ Your opinion is uninformed. food stamps/student loans = more study time = better grades = better job ops later. You might also factor in that anyone wanting to get anywhere with a graduate degree has to intern at least one semester for no pay and write a thesis. It's irresponsible and in many cases forbidden to moonlight during this critical time. Graduate school is work.

^ There are many ways around the residency requirements ;) Just ask Hillary!

Hey up there! No, working does not mean you deserve a 2car garage. It means you can afford it, NOT deserve it. You work pushers are MOTHER f***ers and deserve nothing but the ignorance and negativity you radiate and the destruction you cause. Fortunately for those of us sick of the bullshit you're time is nearly over. you will return to the hoop or you'll suffer long time. Enjoy

If you're old enough for grad school, you're old enough to hold a job. WTF!

2up, you didn't answer the question I asked: how do you feed yourself, put a roof over your head, and keep the lights on? And what, you think I'm crazy because I work and have worked for 42 yrs? I will work till the day I die! And no, not to keep your lazy ass fed.

Scripture says, "He who will not work should not eat." I agree with that wholeheartedly.

OP, don't listen to the haters. Grad school is hard and time consuming. Usually, you are required to work a whole lot for little money as TAs. So it is equivalent to a full-time job. You shouldn't plan to do both. Grad students are serfs. You'll see. It's punishment enough.

3 up. I agree. It especially sucks when you are working on your major and the schoold admin adds more classes to your major before you graduate.

1 up.....ummmmmmmmmmm, he said he lied, that he is sick of work......what dont you understand about that? you sound like my ex, sheeeesh

Work is dumb. If we hadn't corralled all the food onto fields sprayed with toxic poisons, we wouldn't need to do it so much. It's funny how many think that 2car garage is totally deserved so long as they work enough. The workers been getting nasty wake up calls in recent years and more to come!

...^.... H U H ?????

If you work to afford that 2-car garage and the house that goes with it, you damn sure do deserve it! What the f*ck is wrong with so many of you people? You deserve to have it rough enough to see why you need to get off your dead asses and put out some effort to make a living! If you need help, I'll teach you how to do something, but I'm certainly not gonna keep any of you. Not a snowball's chance in hell of that!
Remove this stupid comment

You need to work, OP, even if it's part-time. You don't deserve to be lazy and be kept by your mother while you're getting your master's degree. Grow the f*ck up! And lying about it makes you a loser-deluxe, stop fooling yourself!

4^, I'm really curious as to what it is you do to put food on your table and keep your lights turned on. You sound like about the most ignorant person I've run into in the past 3 decades.

Lazy democrat. Tired of working. I want someone to work extra hard so they can take care of me. Even tho I'm a capable adult. Where's that gubmint sighn up office?
Remove this stupid comment

Tired of working?!?!? What are you 21 or 22 years old. What the f***?? I've worked two full time jobs for 17 years!! Lazy pussy. I hope you starve
Remove this stupid comment

I worked 2 full time jobs when I was 21. I didn't have the money to go to college but I had two great jobs and worked from 6:30am to 2:30pm, raced to my second job to work from 3pm to 9pm. I was the manager of a salon so I closed the place which meant I usually didn't get out of there until 9:30 or 10pm. I still crammed in boyfriend time and party time. Don't know when I slept but I sure was rollin in the dough! The 80's rocked!
