You tried to tell me a year maybe two ago that she wasn't to be trusted, today she showed me in the worst way that you were right. Not surprised but it hurts

Dude, under the proper circumstances, no woman can be trusted.

This wasn't a romantic relationship but a platonic friendship between women who were like sisters.

Well a I knew her 1st and for 6yrs we were part of each others daily lives, we saw each other through good and bad times, we cried and laughed together, we looked out for one another. How was I supposed to know it was fake? It was a two way street. How would any one have known her side was harboring hidden agendas? The one who tried to warn me brought up the subject once and it was brief then never spoke of it again. This person wasn't a constant in my life and the friendship was one that created confusion. When you care about someone you look out for them, fight for them, your there in times of need, when you care for someone these things are not a burden but an honor but instead of attempting any of these things this person walked away without a fight, quit the opposite of the other.

Ah, that's sad. It hurts, I know. Time will heal you. But it will take time.

Yes I will heal, yesterday was a slap in the face, today I'm singing. I wish things had taken a different route but that's not enough to hold me down. I bounce back fast but I'm also old enough to know time doesn't heal all wounds.

^ true. Some things go to deep to heal. over time the pain doesn't paralyze, the shock wears off and your able to function normally again learning to ignore the pain but its still just as raw as the day it happened.

You should've listened. At least someone tried to tell you.

well, I give you credit for admitting you didnt listen and got burned....most ppl would say " I dont recall you telling me that, nope, no way"

When I'm wrong I haven't a problem admitting it. Would have told the person face to face but have no way to contact em.
