I'm so sorry, I lost my best friend 9 years ago to cancer. Seeing him go thru what he did is the hardest thing I've ever done. I miss him every day. It hasn't gotten easier for me one bit. It still hurts

I am a cancer survivor. I swear, before I live though what my mom did until it took her life, I will take my own life before it gets too severe.

One of my dear friends is suffering from the final stages of cancer. It's reached the point where the family is just trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. She's only in her 50s. To be honest, she could pass away at any time and I haven't been to visit her in over a month. I feel guilty, but part of me doesn't want to remember her in the state she's reached.
