I find that living on the edge makes me want to live that much more! I too have an adventurist spirit....flying airplanes, skydiving, scuba diving, rock climbing, sailing, water skiing, driving race cars, etc. Keep looking and doing things that stimulate you. You have a need for high stimulation and are very luck to want/need to experience life to the fullest. Don't give up! It will get better. I have been where you are now. Good luck to you!

^1up's got it right. Doing dangerous things when I was 2 or 3 decades younger (hehe) made me feel very alive. Don't give up on life - do things you enjoy.

You won't want to be dead. It's probably the worst thing ever. Even Stephen Kings horror novels don't come up with it.

Hell, why would you, say, jump from an airplane hoping the 'chute won't open, just to live throught he torture of waiting to die> Just buy a gun. But keep in mind, you are going to leave a wake of sadness behind with those who love you that you may not realize just how much.

3^ King does depict death, only it's not death but inter-dimensional travel. We wake up in a way station in a desert somewheres with no memory of what came before.

1^ Yeh, and I seriously don't believe "real" death is like that.

^ You have not a clue. Why play like you do and believe anything? Death is an illusion, and life is but a dream.
