Be scared and take it very very slowly. For me it takes about 6 solid months of dating to start to see the real person and to see how they truly are. Give yourself time before jumping into a marriage.

Run while you can, if both of you are not absolutely certain you will become one of the divorce statistics. Better to be over cautious than to have your heart ripped out. It also saves you from having kids that you fight over in the divorce. Save everyone the trouble and wait until you both get married because each of you can't imagine being without each other.

I agree with the first post. Six months is a good indicator. For me that indicator works far better when I am not having sex with them during that time.
