for everyone who claims a college education is the only way to go.....i spent 8 grand on trade school and have made over 120,000 back on my investment within 5 years......yet my boss who is a doctor is still sits on over 400K in deferred student loans!!!!

^that's right. First off, look into income based repayment. If you're making 20k a year, your payments will be less than 100 a month. Any time you go back to school, assuming you've made those payments or gotten forebearance cause you don't have a job, your grace period will restart. I suggest going into medicine, start at EMT and slowly work your way up. The limit for medical fields is well over 200k of borrowing. at a cheaper state school, this means 10-15 years of living off loans. Also, if you go into teaching and make regular payments, there are numerous programs that will make payments for you or reimburse, also after ten years of teaching all govt debt is cleared. Enjoy!
