Wow, I can relate. So you moved on but can't get this man out of your heart. This happened to me long ago. Truth is...I still think of him from time to time...no matter who I am with. But it takes two to make a relationship...not just one. That's the bottom line. Try not to punish your new love for being a good man and comparing him to the man who is gone. We must value good men who are good to us. And we must let men know that even though we are strong women, we still need them. Things got all out of whack with women's liberation. We perhaps need to balance those scales back a bit..

Taking time helps for you to know if he is just a memory or the love is real. I figured out I was in love with my ex when I was in a new relationship. I eventually got out, and stayed single. I'm still single and I'm still in love with him. So it is the real deal and I did send him a letter. I hope the best for you!
